When you’re trying for a baby and not having any success it can be so disheartening. This example of a fertility spell jar will help you to boost your fertility and prepare yourself physically, mentally and spiritually for a baby.
Make sure you check in with a health professional to get some advice on getting pregnant. Never use witchcraft instead of consulting a medical professional but use it alongside conventional medicine.
You will need:
- Some carnelian, rose quartz and moonstone
- Some cinnamon mixed with castor oil.
- A green candle to symbolize fertility and new life.
- An altar or a safe space where you won’t be interrupted.
- A wand.
- Some small items that represent fertility to you, maybe some baby shoes or a small baby doll.
- A small piece of paper and a pen.
Step 1: Prepare your space
Make sure that you have a nice clean, safe space to conduct your spell in where you won’t be interrupted. Make sure there’s nothing flammable nearby or anything that might fall onto your altar.
Gather all of your tools and ingredients so you won’t have to leave your circle to grab them.
Step 2: Cast a Circle
Use your wand to cast a circle to protect yourself and hold the energy of your spell until you are ready to release it. For help doing this have a look at this article on how to cast a circle.
Step 3: The Spell
Begin by saying:
“I call upon the elements, air of the east, fire of the south, water of the west and earth of the north, hear my plea today”
Light the green candle. While lighting the candle say the following out loud:
”My body is fertile, virile and strong,
a baby will come with health and with song,
the child will grow with love in their heart,
come to me child, we never shall part”
Take the herbs, crystals and symbolic items and place them inside your jar. Write “I have a healthy baby” on the piece of paper and place it inside too. Put the lid on your jar and meditate for a few minutes, visualizing yourself or your partner becoming pregnant, giving birth and raising a beautiful, well loved child.
When you are ready take the candle and use the wax to seal the jar closed.
Close the circle. You can now put the jar wherever you like to continue radiating out your intention. If its small enough you might like to carry it around with you in your pocket or handbag. If it’s bigger place it in the bedroom or near where you will be trying to conceive.
Tips
You might like to decorate the jar with a green ribbon or draw a fertility sigil on it with a permanent marker.
Remember your intention is the most important element of witchcraft so don’t worry if you don’t have all the right equipment or don’t follow the instructions exactly. If you believe it has power it will work!
