Trying for a baby is hard. It can be so disheartening when you put in all the work but don’t seem to be having any success. This spell will help to boost your fertility and help your (or your partner’s) body to be spiritually ready.

Make sure you check in with a health professional to get some advice on getting pregnant. Never use witchcraft instead of consulting a medical professional but use it alongside conventional medicine.

Here is an example of a fertility spell that you can follow.

You will need:

• Some carnelian, rose quartz and moonstone
• Some cinnamon mixed with castor oil.
• A green candle to symbolize fertility and new life.
• An altar or a safe space where you won’t be interrupted.
• A wand.
• A knife or needle.
• Some items to represent fertility for example a pregnancy test or some baby shoes.

Step 1: Prepare your space

Make sure that you have a nice clean, safe space to conduct your spell in where you won’t be interrupted. Make sure there’s nothing flammable nearby or anything that might fall onto your altar.

Gather all of your tools and ingredients so you won’t have to leave your circle to grab them.

Step 2: Cast a Circle

Use your wand to cast a circle to protect yourself and hold the energy of your spell until you are ready to release it. For help doing this have a look at this article on how to cast a circle.

Step 3: The Spell

Begin by saying:

“I call upon the elements, air of the east, fire of the south, water of the west and earth of the north, hear my plea today”

Take the crystals and place them them on your altar. Take the green candle and carve “I am fertile” into it with your knife or needle. You might also like to carve a sigil into the candle or create the shape of one with the elements on your altar. Anoint the candle with the cinnamon mixed with castor oil.

Light the candle. While lighting the candle say the following out loud:

”My body is fertile, virile and strong,

a baby will come with health and with song,

the child will grow with love in their heart,

come to me child, we never shall part”

Meditate while you wait for the candle to burn down to nothing. While meditating visualize yourself (or your partner) becoming pregnant and having a child. Try to picture the face of your future child and imagine them as they grow up healthy and strong.

When the candle has burnt away destroy your circle and the energy of your spell will be distributed.

Tips

• If you can’t wait for the candle to burn away completely that’s ok. Just make sure you close your circle properly when you decide to end the spell.
• Remember your intention is the most important element of witchcraft so don’t worry if you don’t have all the right equipment or don’t follow the instructions exactly. If you believe it has power it will work!
• You might like to hold onto your crystals while you meditate to amplify the energy and provide a tactile experience
